What Warlingham roofs are actually like
Warlingham keeps its village shape: the triangular green with the war memorial, and around it some genuinely old roofs: the village counts six listed buildings, including the White Lion (parts of it 17th-century, the core reputedly older still) and the late-1600s red-brick vicarage under its tiled roof. Are you really based in Warlingham?
Yes, the village is our home patch and where we work out of. The trading name points at where the work is; the roots are CR6.
Do you cover Chelsham, Farleigh and Hamsey Green?
All of them. They share the CR6 district with Warlingham and they’re all a few minutes out. The village edges toward Fickleshole and Great Farleigh Green are conservation areas, so material matching can matter out there; we build that into the quote.
Can you work on the older clay-tiled buildings?
Carefully, yes. Old clay roofs want matched tiles, soft mortar where mortar’s involved, and a light touch. Where a building is listed, consent questions come first and we’ll say so honestly before any work is priced.
